Kendall Jenner’s Ever-Changing Coachella Style: A Closer Look at Her Festival Fashion Choices
Kendall Jenner is a Coachella veteran, changing up her style every year, however. The early Coachella style was all about denim cut-offs and gladiator sandals, cropped peasant tops, and bandanas—classic Cali desert-party vibe. As she moved towards her own style, things started becoming more refined: Jenner, along with her stylist Dani Michelle, began picking less-anti-festival fits; simply crop tops and denim from brands like St. Agni became the new essentials of the year. For more than a decade now, Coachella concertgoers as importers of the Kendall Jenner way of style can be told by her choice of outfits.
For Coachella 2025, Jenner has been layering various aspects of her style and wardrobe. The model hosted the event ‘818 Outpost’ for the third year in a row, with its theme set as “1970s Autocamp Soirée.” She made the most of the sunny California weather in a (color of the season) butter yellow, cotton midi Proenza Schouler dress. (Even the designer was thoughtful in naming it ‘Kendall’.) She paired it up with black sunglasses and what else but The Row’s Dune rubber flatform sandals, styling her bob straight. Johnson was also seen with her ally Hailey Bieber, who has been discombobulating two aesthetics for the occasion: for 818, she wore a backless black linen mini dress; later she switched to another style with a plunging vintage red leather Mugler corset.
The festivities saw Jenner enjoying some of the acts, together with sister Kylie Jenner and boyfriend Timothée Chalamet; Kendall quickly changed into something on the casual side, keeping in line with last year’s tones. She donned a gray racer-back tank top with black jeans rolled at the hem and a pair of silver and black sneakers and a shoulder bag in olive green-a color that matched her mani. Jenner again slicked her bob back into a tight low bun.
Jenner hosting the festival kickoff party for FWRD was held on the first night of Coachella. For the very sleek and chic occasion, she chose a sand-toned bias-cut dress from Danish brand Tove’s Resort 2025 collection.
