Madonna Commemorates the Film and Trans Visibility Day with Fashion Nostalgia.
Queen- of- Pop Madonna celebrated her debut film Desperately Seeking Susan by wearing the aggregate- exaggerated jacket from the 1985 movie on the occasion of the film’s 40th anniversary. The 66- time-old participated those nostalgic moments on International Transgender Day of Visibility on April 1, 2025. The event honored not just her heritage in the film but also aligned her with the ambisexual cause.

This 1950s- jacquard blazer was one of the most vital props in Desperately Seeking Susan; in the film, it’s worn by the character Roberta, played by Rosanna Arquette, who gets confused with Madonna’s character, Susan, and begins her trip of tone- discovery.
