Miley Cyrus Turns Heads in Her Boldest Look Yet
Miley Cyrus has made it known time and time again that she doesn’t have a problem with making some daring changes. This latest look is no different than her former iconic bleach-blonde pixie cut in 2014. The likes of her newest hairdos are something 32-year-old Miley pushes on in and keeps breaking through the fashion genres with.
Miley showed the world an image of the album cover for her very much-anticipated ninth studio album, Something Beautiful, via Instagram on Monday. This album is coming out on May 30 under Columbia Records. The brilliant photograph was shot by Glen Luchford and shows the artist wrapped in an archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture piece-a breathtaking futuristic number.
Miley’s beauty look matches the high-fashion idea with sultry smoky eyes, contoured cheeks, and a glossed nude lip.
The elaborate look boasts of a glowing, iridescent headdress and a sparkling bodysuit blanketed in transparent, dangling jeweled accents, giving the effect of mini-icicles. The subtle web-like cutouts give the bodysuit an ethereal quality, besides the cascade of gems from the headpiece, which catch the light beautifully.
Assembling all that along with the album cover, Something Beautiful will have 13 original tracks and is already ready for pre-order in various formats like vinyl, CDs, and box sets. The pop star went on to confirm that she co-executive produced the album along with Shawn Everett.
In fact, this isn’t the first mind-boggling change Miley has had this year. She was first seen at the Grammy Awards with her trendsetting “Jellyfish” haircut. It was through this that all understood what became out of toast-almond-colored hair: short strands were cut sharply on either side, framing her jawline while longer pieces cascaded down to her ribs. She completed that with soft bangs and a glittery bronze eye, perfectly paired with a daring Saint Laurent cut-out dress as she accepted her third Grammy award.
With Something Beautiful on the way and her inimitable routes toward taste in fashion, Miley Cyrus is sure to continue as a force that only grows when it comes to her style and music icon stature.
